To see the impact that the arts can have in a therapeutic way, we have included several case studies of special individuals. These people have found many benefits from working with us and want to help us share the message of how powerful drama can be.

MEET SUE...

Sue is one of our beneficiaries from Care Merseyside. We met Sue back in September 2019, and we have watched her excel in so many ways since then.

Sadly, Sue's son died last year and she found that attending our sessions helped her find time for herself and express her bereavement. .

To hear more of Sue's story, have a listen...

Harvey was a volunteer for our male mental health verbatim project. He bravely came forward to share his experience of his own mental health. Harvey opened up in the interview about his anxiety and depression and how it effected him.

He explains here what it meant to hear his story and others portrayed on stage.

DECLAN'S STORY...

Declan was another volunteer for our male mental health verbatim project. Declan spoke up for the first ever time about his mental health struggles when we interviewed him.

He decided to remain anonymous until he watched the performance and afterwards, felt courageous enough to take part in the post show discussion and share his story.

To find out more about Declan's journey, watch this video of us talking on Mindset by Dave's Podcast...

MOLLY'S STORY...

Molly is a young person who we met when facilitating our exploring emotions workshop. Molly found a release when she performed and found it easier to express how she felt through acting than verbally.

We had the opportunity to talk about Molly's experience on Radio City Talk's Mental Health Monday.
